The Daiwa Air Tech 16m Pole is designed for experienced match anglers who demand outstanding handling, stiffness and responsiveness. Built for elite-level fishing, it combines advanced material design with the versatility needed to tackle a wide range of match fishing situations.
Daiwa has pushed the boundaries of its CAD design system, redesigning 98 material patterns and incorporating 20 different Japanese pre-pregs. As a result, the Air Tech delivers the strength, rigidity and near-instant responsiveness required when fishing at full length.
To take its performance further, Daiwa developed the Super 6 section. This abbreviated section increases the pole’s rigidity and provides an additional handling option when maximum stiffness and control are important.
The Daiwa Air Tech Pole also features Dual Roller side pullers on the Pro Commercial, Pro Power and Pro F1 kits. These help elastic travel smoothly in different directions when playing fish. Furthermore, each kit includes a UK-made PTFE bush and nose cone. The Pro Match kits come wrapped for a side puller, with spare Dual Rollers supplied for fitting if preferred.
Daiwa’s ITS and Diamond Satin finishes support comfortable handling throughout a session. In addition, section alignment helps maximise stiffness, while protective EVA end caps help protect the sections during transport in a pole case.
The 16m packaged option includes a selection of Pro Match, Pro Commercial, Pro Power and Pro F1 kits, alongside two cupping kits, spare No4 sections and the Super 6. This provides a versatile selection of equipment for different fishing situations and approaches.
