Description
Guru SMWG Speed Stop Barbless Rigs 4″ offer anglers a highly effective ready-tied hooklength designed for modern commercial fishing. Combining the proven SMWG hook pattern with an integrated Speed Stop system, these rigs make baiting quick, efficient and consistent while delivering outstanding fish-holding performance.
Suitable for a wide range of species and fishing situations, these ready rigs perform exceptionally well when targeting carp, F1s, bream, tench and other commercial fish. As a result, they have become a popular choice among pleasure, coarse and match anglers alike.
Performance and Design
The Speed Stop Ready Rig features an optimised hair length designed specifically to suit many of the most popular commercial fishing hookbaits. A Speed Stop positioned at the end of the hair secures the bait quickly and effectively, allowing anglers to prepare rigs in seconds.
A small section of 0.3mm Micro Silicone sits on the hook shank and helps maintain the correct bait position. Consequently, the hookbait remains presented correctly and the rig continues to perform as intended throughout the session.
This version features the highly regarded SMWG hook pattern. Known for its versatility and reliability, the SMWG suits a wide variety of fishing situations, including feeder fishing, bomb fishing and selected pole fishing methods. Furthermore, its shape provides excellent hooking efficiency and dependable hook holds.
The PTFE-coated finish helps the hook maintain a sharper point for longer while improving penetration and durability. Therefore, anglers benefit from consistent performance and increased confidence when targeting hard-fighting fish.
Guru ties every ready rig using trusted N-Gauge line, a material that has proven itself over many years across commercial, match and pleasure fishing. In addition, a range of line diameter options on selected hook sizes allows anglers to tailor their presentation to suit different fishing situations.
The 4-inch hooklength provides an ideal setup for many commercial fishing applications where shorter hooklengths improve bait presentation and bite detection. Combined with the Speed Stop system, these rigs offer a practical and highly efficient solution for modern anglers.
