Drennan Acolyte Maggot Plus 6” Hook Plate System

Description

The Drennan Acolyte Maggot Plus 6” Hook Plate System features barbless hooks designed for reliable performance with smaller baits such as maggots, casters, and worm sections. This pattern is a stronger version of the Silverfish hook, making it ideal for slightly bigger fish while maintaining delicate bait presentation.

Each hook is tied to 6 inches (15cm) of high-quality nylon and stored on a flat hook plate system that keeps hooklengths perfectly straight under light tension. This prevents kinks or line memory, ensuring rigs present naturally and fish effectively when used. The precise whipping knots and consistent loops allow hooks to be deployed directly from the plate or stored neatly in the Drennan Hook Book and Hook Box storage system for organised transport.

Available hook and line combinations include size 12 tied to 0.16mm (4lb), size 14 tied to 0.14mm (3lb), size 16 tied to 0.14mm (3lb), and size 18 tied to 0.12mm (2lb 8oz), with 8 hooks supplied per plate.
