Drennan Wide Gape Carp 6″

Description

The Drennan Wide Gape Carp 6″ hooklengths feature barbless Wide Gape Carp hooks to nylon, designed with a strong hook and a wide crystal bend, making them perfect for targeting carp. The extra-wide gape improves hooking efficiency, especially as baits sit naturally in the slightly square-shaped bend. The short shank can be largely hidden within the bait, ensuring a neat and effective presentation. This pattern holds larger soft baits such as meat securely, making it ideal for carp fishing in commercial venues.

Each hooklength is supplied on the 6” (15cm) Hook Plate System. Eight individual hooks to nylon are stored flat under slight tension, preventing kinks in the monofilament so rigs remain perfectly straight and ready to fish. Precise whipping knots and consistent loops allow the rigs to be used directly from the plate.

The plates can be used as supplied or stored in compatible storage systems from Drennan such as the Hook Book or Hook Box, keeping rigs organised and protected.
