Description
The second generation Daiwa Matchman Feeder Rod range continues the strong value and performance the Matchman series is known for, now with updated features and an expanded choice of models.
Built using HMC carbon blanks with reinforced X-WRAP butt sections, these Matchman feeder rods feel crisp, responsive and progressive through the action. They provide control when playing hard-fighting fish while still cushioning hook holds under load.
Each rod features an Armlock handle design with a combination of cork and Duplon. This gives a comfortable grip and a clean finish on the bank.
The range covers modern feeder fishing across a variety of commercial situations. The 7ft, 8ft and 9ft models are suited to short-range feeder work, including mini method fishing and close-range work with stronger main lines.
For more conventional feeder fishing, the 10ft, 11ft and 12ft models offer extra casting range and control. These Matchman feeder rods suit a range of feeder weights, covering everything from short commercial work through to longer casts when required.
The progressive actions help with casting accuracy and fish-playing control, making the range suitable for carp, F1s and larger silverfish on commercial venues.
The range also offers a balanced and forgiving fish-playing action, helping maintain control at close range while still providing enough power for larger commercial carp. The slim blanks and responsive actions make these Matchman feeder rods comfortable to fish with throughout longer sessions.
