Description
The Drennan Carp Maggot 6″ hooklengths feature barbless Carp Maggot hooks, a stronger version of the Silverfish Maggot pattern and finished in a distinctive red colour. This makes them an excellent choice when fishing with red baits such as maggots, helping to create a natural and effective presentation.
The hooks are designed with a medium to long shank, a swept crystal bend, and a chemically etched long needle point to provide reliable hooking performance and excellent bait presentation when targeting carp and other species.
Each hooklength is supplied on the innovative 6” (15cm) Hook Plate System. Eight individual hooks to nylon are stored flat under slight tension to prevent kinks in the monofilament, ensuring they remain perfectly straight and ready to fish. Precise whipping knots and consistent loops mean these rigs can be used straight from the plate with confidence.
The plates can be used as supplied or stored in compatible storage systems from Drennan such as the Hook Book or Hook Box, making it easy to keep rigs organised and protected.
