Guru SMWG Barbless Bait Banded Hair Rigs 15″

Description

Guru SMWG Barbless Bait Banded Hair Rigs 15″ are designed to provide anglers with a highly effective ready-tied hooklength for commercial feeder fishing. Combining the proven SMWG hook pattern with a practical Micro Bait Band system, these rigs offer quick hookbait attachment, excellent presentation and dependable hooking performance.

Perfect for Method Feeder, Hybrid Feeder and Pellet Feeder fishing, these ready rigs suit a wide range of commercial fishing situations and target species. As a result, they have become a popular choice among anglers targeting carp, F1s, bream and other hard-fighting fish. The 15-inch hooklength provides a natural presentation, while the bait band system allows hookbaits to be mounted quickly and securely.

The rig features an optimally sized Micro Bait Band positioned at the end of the hair. Consequently, anglers can fish hard pellets, wafters, pop-ups and other banded hookbaits with confidence. In addition, a small section of 0.3mm Micro Silicone sits on the hook shank and hair to maintain the correct hookbait position and ensure the rig performs consistently throughout the session.

At the heart of the rig is the highly popular SMWG hook pattern. Known for its strength, reliability and fish-holding ability, it performs exceptionally well when targeting larger commercial species. Furthermore, the wide gape design and ultra-sharp point create secure hook holds and excellent hooking efficiency.

Each SMWG hook benefits from a PTFE coating that improves durability, sharpness retention and penetration. Therefore, anglers can maintain confidence in their presentation even during demanding fishing sessions. The coating also helps the hook remain sharper for longer, providing consistent performance cast after cast.

Guru ties every ready rig using trusted N-Gauge line, which has earned an excellent reputation among pleasure, coarse and match anglers. Moreover, the rigs come supplied on convenient hooklength spools that fit neatly into Guru Rig Boxes, making storage and organisation simple both at home and on the bank. Combined with the proven SMWG hook and bait band system, these ready rigs provide a reliable and efficient solution for modern commercial anglers.
