Korda Barbed Chod Rigs

Description

The Korda Barbed Chod Rig is a highly effective and convenient solution for anglers fishing over weed, silt or debris where maintaining clean presentation is essential. Designed to ensure your hookbait is always positioned correctly, it allows carp to take the bait confidently without the need to find a perfectly clear spot.

Ideal for casting to showing fish, this rig minimises disturbance while still delivering consistent results. Tying a chod rig can be complex and time-consuming, but this ready-tied version removes the hassle, providing a professionally constructed rig using the same components and knots favoured by experienced anglers, including Danny Fairbrass.

Each rig is tied using Korda’s Mouth Trap hooklink material and paired with Choddy hooks to create the perfect balance of stiffness and presentation. Finished with a ring swivel, the rig can be easily threaded onto your main line or leader for quick and efficient setup.

Available in both Long and Short versions, you can tailor your presentation to suit different fishing situations, with the Short version often preferred for naked chod setups. Supplied with barbed hooks in sizes 4, 6, 8 and 10, and matched with 15lb, 20lb or 25lb Mouth Trap depending on hook size, these rigs offer versatility and reliability straight from the packet. Each pack contains three rigs.
