Description
Korda Dark Matter Barbed Rig Wide Gape provides anglers with a highly effective ready-tied carp rig for a wide range of fishing situations. These Korda Dark Matter Barbed Rig Wide Gape setups are tied to exacting standards, allowing anglers to fish confidently straight from the packet.
The rig is suitable for use with both bottom baits and wafter-style hookbaits. Therefore, it offers excellent flexibility when adapting to changing fishing conditions and bait preferences.
Each rig includes Extenda Hair Stops, allowing anglers to adjust the hair length and fish with different bait sizes while maintaining effective presentation.
The setup features a barbed Wide Gape hook combined with shrink tubing to create a more aggressive hooking angle. As a result, the hook turns quickly and improves hooking efficiency during takes.
A small piece of silicone helps position the hair perfectly along the hook shank. Furthermore, this improves rig mechanics and helps the hook take hold securely inside the fish’s mouth.
The rig is tied using Dark Matter braid, which sinks effectively and blends naturally with the lake bed. Therefore, anglers benefit from discreet presentation and improved rig concealment.
Breaking strains are matched carefully to hook size. Sizes 4 and 6 are tied using 20lb braid, while sizes 8 and 10 use 15lb braid. This creates a balanced combination of strength and subtle presentation.
These ready rigs are ideal for modern carp fishing situations where dependable hooking performance and effective bottom presentation are essential.
Each pack contains 1 ready-tied rig.
Overall, this rig delivers convenience, reliable presentation, and strong hooking performance for carp anglers.
