Description
Korda Distance Casting Swivels are designed specifically for anglers who need reliable performance when casting at long range. The nose-heavy design ensures the lead remains stable in flight, helping it travel straight and accurately to the chosen spot. As a result, anglers can consistently hit baited areas even at extended distances.
In addition, the aerodynamic profile improves casting efficiency by reducing wobble and unwanted movement during flight. Therefore, the lead behaves predictably and lands exactly where intended, even in challenging wind conditions. This makes it particularly effective for open-water fishing situations where precision is essential.
The shape of the lead also enhances hooking efficiency. Because the weight is concentrated towards the front, it helps drive the hook home quickly when a fish picks up the bait. Furthermore, this improves overall rig performance and increases confidence when fishing at range.
Angler Danny Fairbrass has highlighted this design as a personal favourite, especially when fishing multiple rods closely grouped over a baited area. He notes that the lead flies “like an arrow” and consistently reaches the intended spot, making it ideal for controlled baiting campaigns in open water.
Available in a range of sizes from 1.5oz up to 5oz, Korda Distance Casting Swivels allow anglers to adapt their setup to different distances, conditions and venue requirements. In addition, this flexibility ensures suitable weight selection for both short-range precision and maximum-distance casting.
Overall, Korda Distance Casting Swivels provide a dependable, stable and highly accurate lead option for anglers who demand long-range performance and consistent presentation in open-water carp fishing.
