Description
Korda Kable Leadcore Leader Heli-Safe is a ready-to-use leader system designed for helicopter-style setups. It works with both standard rigs and chod presentations. As a result, it offers excellent versatility on the bank.
Korda constructs this leader using the new Tight Weave Kable Leadcore. Therefore, it delivers strong durability, flexibility and reliability straight out of the packet.
At 50cm in length, the leader helps pin your setup neatly to the lakebed. In addition, it still performs well for long-range casting. Consequently, it maintains excellent presentation at distance.
The design also provides strong anti-tangle performance. As a result, your rig settles more effectively on the lakebed.
Korda includes the Mini Heli-Safe System in this setup. This compact system allows the lead to eject when required. Therefore, it improves fish safety and reduces the risk of tethered fish.
The integrated No-Trace Safety System adds another layer of protection. In the event of a mainline break, the hooklink detaches cleanly. As a result, the fish can free itself safely.
You can adjust the top rubber depending on lake conditions. For example, you can position it close to the lead on clean bottoms. Alternatively, you can slide it higher when fishing weed or debris.
The Mini Heli-Safe system also offers flexible configuration. For instance, you can use a standard spring for easy lead release in weed. In addition, you can fit the supplied red springs for more controlled release situations.
Optional collars are also included. Therefore, you can prevent lead ejection completely when needed. However, fish safety remains protected through the No-Trace system.
Korda fits a size 11 QC Ring Swivel for quick rig changes. In addition, a spliced loop allows easy loop-to-loop connection to your mainline.
The leaders come in Gravel Brown or Weed/Silt colours. Each pack contains two leaders. Furthermore, Korda includes spare components for long-term use.
Overall, Korda Kable Leadcore Leader Heli-Safe offers a safe, versatile and highly effective helicopter rig solution.
