Korda Latch Needles are a versatile range of baiting needles designed to suit different baiting situations, offering both Fine and Heavy options to cover a wide variety of hookbait types and rig applications.
The Fine Latch Needle measures 7cm in length and is designed specifically for use with softer hookbaits and delicate particles such as sweetcorn. Its slim profile creates minimal damage, leaving a very small hole through the bait. This helps maintain bait integrity and presentation. The latched gate securely holds the hair loop in place while it is pulled through the bait, regardless of whether braid or monofilament is used.
The Heavy Latch Needle is also 7cm long but is built for tougher applications. It is strong enough to pass easily through harder hookbaits while still maintaining precision and control. Like the Fine version, it features a latched gate to retain the hair during threading and release it cleanly once complete.
Both versions feature ergonomic handles designed for comfort and control, even in cold or wet conditions. In addition, each handle is colour-coded for quick identification in your tackle box: purple for the Fine Latch Needle and green for the Heavy Latch Needle. This makes it easy to select the correct tool quickly during rig preparation.
