Description

The Korda Leadcore Chod System incorporates the innovative No-Trace System, providing a highly effective and fish-safe solution for use with leadcore and similar leader materials. Designed with safety as a priority, this system ensures that in the event of a main line break, the hooklink can eject cleanly, preventing fish from being left towing heavy leaders or leads.

Unlike traditional helicopter setups, where debris or weed can sometimes prevent components from sliding freely, this system uses specially designed No-Trace Beads. These beads are engineered with a side slit, allowing them to completely detach from the leader once released from the retaining Chod Sleeve. This ensures that the hooklink swivel can pass easily over knots or splices, eliminating the risk of obstruction.

The included Chod Sleeves securely hold the beads in position during casting and normal fishing, while still allowing them to release under pressure when needed. A Barrel Bead at the lead end provides cushioning and added protection to the setup.

How To Use

• Thread the system components onto your leadcore leader
• Position the Chod Sleeve and No-Trace Beads as required
• Attach your hooklink via a size 11 Ring Swivel
• Secure your lead at the end of the setup
• Cast out and fish as a standard helicopter or chod rig
• In the event of a break, the system allows safe ejection
