Description
Korda Shrink Tube is a versatile end tackle component that can be used to finish off rigs and help increase their hooking potential. By curving the hook link inwards, it helps encourage the hook to flip over once inside the carp’s mouth.
It is particularly popular for creating line aligner and kicker-style presentations. When used as a kicker, the Shrink Tube allows you to choose how far you want to extend the hook shank. Therefore, it is a useful option for anglers who prefer a longer, curved kicker.
Once shaped, the tubing is stiff enough to maintain its position during normal use. However, when a fish is hooked, it can straighten out so that the extended section does not cause damage in the way that an actual bent-style or long curved hook could.
In addition, Korda Shrink Tube can be used to cover and secure quick-change swivels on your end tackle. Consequently, it is a useful component to keep in your tackle box for a variety of rigging applications.
Weed, Clay, Silt and Gravel colour options are available, allowing you to match the tubing to the lakebed you are fishing over. Each colour comes in Small 1.2mm and Medium 1.6mm sizes, covering most hook sizes and swivels.
Each pack contains eight 55mm lengths of Korda Shrink Tube, giving you plenty of material for creating and adapting your chosen rigs.
