Description
The Shimano Baitrunner ST-FB is an entry-level ‘mini’ Baitrunner reel offering exceptional value for both novice and young anglers, as well as those seeking a compact, cost-effective option for larger species. Featuring Shimano’s trusted engineering and an easy-to-use freespool Baitrunner mechanism, it automatically disengages with a simple turn of the handle, ensuring trouble-free operation.
Built with a satin black XT-7 body and rotor, the reel not only performs reliably but also looks the part, blending perfectly with most feeder and specialist rods. The advanced Varispeed line lay produces smooth, even line distribution for easier and more accurate casting, particularly useful on small waters or when fishing near obstacles.
Available in two sizes, the 2500 model is ideal for feeder and bomb fishing for carp or other hard-fighting fish on small waters, while the 4000 size offers additional power and versatility for general, pleasure, or specialist fishing. Combining over 30 years of Shimano Baitrunner experience with affordability, the ST-FB is a perfect choice for anglers at any level.
